HTC hasn't had the best of fortunes in the tablet market, with its first effort the HTC Flyer selling relatively poorly. However, it did take a refreshingly original approach to tablet design, so we're eager to see more.
The Flyer was a 7-inch Android tablet at a time of predominantly 10-inch Android tablets, and it relied on a quirky stylus feature as its main feature rather than technical advancements like a multi-core processor.
We can see a similarly unique approach with these freshly leaked pictures that emerged on Twitter recently.

This 10-inch device has an unusual asymmetrical design. While the bezel on three of the four sides is extremely thin, the one remaining long edge is quite the opposite. As the images show, this makes it comfortable to hold in portrait view (a little like the Sony Tablet S), while in landscape mode it can be propped on a stand to look like a miniature HDTV.
In fact, while its thin black bezel and light unibody design points to a continuation of the attractive HTC One X design philosophy, the whole package looks remarkable like Apple's iMac all-in-one desktop computer.
Both the front and rear-facing cameras appear to be mounted on the thicker edge of the tablet, which is another quirky feature.
The question now is: are we looking at a final design for HTC's next tablet or just one among many?
Oh, and also: are they real? But let's not put too much of a dampener on things. We quite like this design.
