Kingdom Hearts 3 to include Big Hero 6

Square Enix and Disney Interactive have confirmed that the Big Hero 6 crew will appear in Kingdom Hearts 3.

It’s been confirmed that Big Hero 6 will be part of Kingdom Hearts 3, with a brand-new story set after the events in the hit Disney movie.

You’ll be able to explore the film’s fictional setting of San Fransokyo, which is a blend of Tokyo and San Francisco, and team up with tech wizard Hiro, squishy robot Baymax and the rest of the gang.

“The themes in Kingdom Hearts and Big Hero 6 match very well. For
instance, friendship is really important to both stories.
And then of course, there’s light over darkness,” explained Roy Conli, producer at Disney Interactive.

“The story will take place after the events of the film: after Hero and the gang have formed a heroic team. Not only will this allow us to explore new adventures focused on great action, but we’ll also get to see Baymax again.”

Big Hero 6 is the first Marvel property to be featured in the Kingdom Hearts series.

Kingdom Hearts 3 will see the game series’ star Sora teaming up with Baymax to battle a dark version of himself, made partly from the suit left behind at the film’s conclusion.
