Kien is a modular sound system that’s more flexible than most
Don’t want to fill your house with separate surround sound and hi-fi speakers? Kien is the audio system for you.
It’s modular, so you can arrange it how you like.
The satellite speakers are battery powered. To charge them up, just connect them to the subwoofer, either as a sound bar, or stack them on top (you can then rotate the satellites as you like). They’ll still work while they charge, so you’ll never be left in the quiet.
Don’t want to move the speakers? Use the optional power dock.
There’s no set-up required. When you rearrange the speakers, they know where they are in relation to the sub and react accordingly – playing the left audio if placed on the left, for example.

You can buy as many extra subs and sats as you like, and use them all around your house. It’ll even track your location and angle the sweet spot so it always sounds as good as it can. Neat.
It comes in five colours, and you can calibrate it using the app, if you like. It’s shot past its $50,000 funding goal and still has 14 days to go.
