Despite Microsoft recently confirming that Windows 10 will start its global PC and tablet rollout on 29 July, the smartphone-friendly form of the OS has yet to be dated for launch.
That hasn’t stopped British-based smartphone maker Kazam from confirming plans to launch Windows 10 powered handsets later this year, however.
According to UK brand, it will introduce a series of Windows 10 running devices towards the end of the year as part of an “important partnership” with the Redmond-based giant.
Although making its Windows 10-themed plans public, the company would not be drawn on the intimate details of the yet to be revealed devices.

Speaking exclusively with TrustedReviews, he added: “We have a lot of Windows phones and it is a very important partnership for us. We will continue with that.”
Despite being one of the few hardware brands still heavily pushing its Windows Phone efforts, Atkins revealed it’s not always an easy partnership for the UK firm.
“To replicate our proposition on Windows Phone is tricky because everything is built for Android,” he told us.
“We are working with Redmond to get our proposition to work on Windows Phone. It is tricky but they are working with us to deliver it because, I think, they believe in our proposition as well.”

Microsoft announced the Windows 10 release date earlier this month, adding the caveat that only select devices will get the OS refresh on day one.
While PCs and tablets have been five the nod, phones and Microsoft’s Xbox gaming platform will have to wait until later in the year.
“From the device view, our main focus is to kick off the Windows 10 launch wave with a great launch on the PC,” Microsoft’s head of operating systems, Joe Belifore announced recently.
He added: “You should expect that the other devices – phone, HoloLens, Xbox, Surface Hub – will be staggered, probably not on the same date as the PC.”
