Rapper Kanye West has released the debut trailer for his new video game “Only One,” which will tell the story of his mother’s journey to heaven.
During the livestream of his new album’s launch party, Kanye West decided to give us a peek at another project he’s been working on.
It turns out the polarising artist is working on his own videogame. Only One: The Game will follow Kanye’s late mother on her journey to the afterlife as she “travels through the gates of heaven.”
The player will reach their destination by riding a flying horse and growing angel wings (via Kotaku).
Kanye’s premise sounds like an acid trip combined with a level from God of War, but the dedication to his mother is surprisingly heartfelt.

After showcasing the trailer Kanye thanked his fans for watching and their continued support. He then went on to briefly talk about the project’s development.
"That's not easy to do, man," West said about the game’s creation. "Y'all just be acting like this sh*t is regular, man."
West claims that he met some people who "dissed the f**k out of [him]" because of it too.
"I'll be like, 'I want to make a game,' and they'll be like, 'F**k you,'" West explained.
Beyond the initial trailer, we know almost nothing about Kanye’s Only One. It will be coming to undetermined platforms in the near future, and will likely feature Kanye’s likeness and voice talent.
