Just Cause 3’s latest patch should improve load times and performance

Avalanche Studios has released a new patch for Just Cause 3, aiming to improve load times and fix other issues.

Just Cause 3 is an explosively good time, but the ridiculous times on PS4 and Xbox One are becoming a bit of a nuisance.

Avalanche Studios has heard our complaints, and has responded by rolling out a patch that aims to remedy this, and fix a number of other known issues.

Patch 1.02 is now available to download on PS4 and PC, with Xbox One to follow shortly after.

“Since launch, we’ve been pouring through your reviews and comments to help us prioritize our fixes accordingly,” developer Avalanche Studios said on the game’s website.

“We know many of you have been patiently awaiting today’s patch, and this update is part of a much larger plan to optimize and improve the game. Thanks for your patience here.”

We are yet to test out the game after installing the patch, so cannot confirm whether it significantly improves load times or performance.

It is a good sign, however, that Avalanche Studios is actively providing fixes for issues reported by players so soon after release.
