Just Cause 3 release date confirmed for “Holiday 2015” with first trailer

Square Enix and Avalanche Studios have confirmed Just Cause 3 release date will lie in the “holiday 2015” period.

The very first trailer for Just Cause 3 has revealed a loose release date for the game.

Just Cause 3 just got its first trailer entitled “Firestarter”, giving us a brief glimpse at the antics of Rico Rodriguez.

Although the trailer doesn’t exactly tell us a lot about the game, it does confirm that Just Cause 3 will feature a wing suit as a brand new form of transport – akin to Far Cry 4.

Aside from that there’s lots of burning memorabilia and buildings, which end up being in Rodriguez’ eye as he flies through the sky with his wingsuit.

All we know about Just Cause 3 so far is that it will offer “a new playground of chaos and destruction” and it will be set in a fictional Mediterranean archipelago with a huge open-world.

You’ll be tasked with overthrowing a new, tyrannous leader, who you get a few glimpses of in statue-form during the trailer.

There will be glorious mounds of grappling hook action and some serious shooting and parachute action.

The game will launch for PS4, Xbox One and PC sometime this Christmas season.

We’ll keep you posted if we hear anymore about Just Cause 3.
