Journey Collector’s Edition coming to PS4 this summer

Sony has confirmed the Journey Collector’s Edition will come to PS4 this summer.

Speaking during a special showcase for upcoming digital PSN titles, Sony’s Vice President of Product Marketing Usama Al-Qassab confirmed Journey is coming to PS4 later this year.

But of course, the Journey Collector’s Edition doesn’t just get you a copy of Journey for PS4 in all it’s full HD glory.

With the Journey Collector’s Edition, just like it does on PS3, you get Journey along with developer thatgamecompanys’ other titles Flow and Flower.

For those of you who haven’t played any of thatgamecompany’s excellent and beautiful titles, the PS4 Collector’s Edition is the perfect way to start.

The developer’s first PlayStation title is called Flow and requires you to glide your way through an underwater abyss as a worm creature.

Then there’s Flower. You literally play as the wind, blowing across the varying landscapes picking up flower petals and guiding them to each end point. All using the gyroscope/Sixaxis technology within the DualShock 4 itself.

Finally you’ve got Journey itself. You play as an anonymous wanderer faced with an expanse of desert sprawling out before them. Your goal is the glowing mountaintop you can see in the distance. And along the way you may well meet other travellers.

It’s honestly one of the best games we’ve ever played and it looks so beautiful on PS4, you’ll want to play it again if you haven’t already.

There’s no word on pricing or an exact release date as yet. However, we expect that it will cost around the same as the PS3 version – £15.99.
