Samsung Galaxy Note 5 render

A series of Samsung Galaxy Note 5 renders have popped-up online, claiming to give an impression of what the handset will look like.

Far from an early official look at the upcoming phablet, the Galaxy Note 5-themed renders have been crafted by the folks over at ConceptPhones based on recent Note 5 rumours.

Showing a Galaxy S6 inspired metal and glass finish, the handset concepts point towards a svelte, 7.9mm device with a protruding rear camera.

Switching things up, a new MacBook echoing USB Type C port has replaced the phone’s usual microUSB charging port and sits alongside an integrated stylus and fingerprint scanner incorporating physical home button.

We’re keeping our fingers crossed that the Note 5 turns out looking something like this. You can check out the collection of Galaxy Note 5 concept renders below.

Recent reports have suggested that the Note 5 could move beyond the realms of a QHD panel and adopt a 5.9-inch 4K display.

This will reportedly be paired by a massive 4100mAh battery, TouchWiz skinned Android OS, 64-bit Exynos processor and 4GB of RAM.

The Galaxy Note 5 release date is expected for September, with the device tipped to make its first formal appearance during the Berlin-based IFA 2015 conference.

Also like the MacBook, it has a screen. Like the iPhone, it has roundish parts. Like the iWatch, it has a doohickey somewhere. Like the Apple corporation itself, it has...a logo that isn't straight lines.

I'll never understand why some people can't avoid mentioning Apple things in completely unrelated topics.
