Fresh images have appeared of the Samsung Galaxy S7 – or something approximating it, at least.
Another day, another supposed Samsung Galaxy S7 image. This time it’s an apparent dummy model of the new flagship phone, like the grubby paperweights you see in run-down phone shops.
They come from Spanish-language blog Pisapapeles, via French blog Nowhereelse.
They grant a further look at some of the Galaxy S7’s design touches, which appear to be a mish-mash of last year’s range.
The front of the device is pure Samsung Galaxy S6, with a familiar shape and similar positioning of the various elements. However, the back of the device is more akin to the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, with its tapered edges.
This could hint at the phone’s reported larger battery – something that was needed given the disappointing stamina of the Galaxy S6. This larger battery could also be useful in powering the Galaxy S7’s rumoured ‘always on’ display – a feature that the LG G5 is also set to sport.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 is all set to be unveiled at a February 21 Unpacked event in Barcelona, just prior to the onset of that city’s MWC 2016 show.
We’re also expecting to see the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge at the event, which has received a couple of image leaks of its own in recent days.
