A claimed image of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus has popped up online, showing off an oversized S6 Edge copy.
A device recently tipped for an imminent unveiling, the mooted S6 Plus has now reportedly surfaced in picture form for the first time.
The image, which has been teased courtesy of serial tech tipster and YouTube blogger Marques Brownlee – via an anonymous source – shows a device with a dual-edge encompassing panel.
Although exact dimensions are currently unclear, the mass of screen space left alongside the row of four apps and Google search bar suggest the device is significantly larger than its 5.1-inch siblings.
This slightly spurious leak should be taken with a considerable pinch of salt, however, especially given the lack of formal confirmation on Samsung’s part.

According to recent rumours, the S6 Plus will adopt ‘phablet’-esque dimension and line up as a Galaxy Note 5 predecessor of sorts – albeit without the accompanying S-Pen stylus.
Tipped for a formal unveiling and launch this summer, the Plus will reportedly precede the Note 5’s September release by a number of months.
