Rumours have been split over the name of Apple’s next iPhone – is it finally settled?
A new leak seemingly reveals the name of Apple’s upcoming handset as the iPhone SE.
An image posted to Chinese social media site Weibo appears to show packaging for the as yet unconfirmed device.
While we can’t verify the source, the style of the packaging does fit with Apple’s house style.
Unfortunately, the packaging doesn’t give much away, only showing the name of the device and a handful of features: 16GB storage, 4G support, NFC, and GPS.
However, the individual who posted the photo to Weibo also tipped a couple of other details about the handset, as spotted by Apple Insider.

According to the leaker, the iPhone SE will also ship in a 64GB option, and come in four colour variants: silver, space grey, gold, and rose gold.
Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone SE – also rumoured as the iPhone 6C and iPhone 5SE – at an event on March 21.
Also rumoured to launch is a new 9.7-inch version of the iPad Air, as well as a range of new Apple Watch straps and bands.
