Apple’s next-gen smartphone, the iPhone 6S, is set for a camera and processor bump, industry analysts have suggested.

According to latest reports, the eagerly awaited handset will jump from an 8-megapixel to a 12-megapixel primary camera, with an improved A9 processor also tipped to make an appearance.

The unsurprising upgrades have been teased by KGI Securities analyst and serial Apple tipster, Ming-Chi Kuo (via GforGames).

Kuo has claimed the iPhone 6 follow-on will also add 2GB of RAM and the company’s new Force Touch screen tech to the mix.

Force Touch was first introduced on the Apple Watch and offers improved touch and pressure sensitivity that can differentiate between a soft and a firm press to perform different functions.

This raft of modest improvements won’t be exclusive to the iPhone 6s either. According to Kuo, the same improvements will be bestowed on the larger, 5.5-inch, iPhone 6s Plus.

Apple has yet to confirm plans for the iPhone 6s, although the device is widely expected to follow the company’s traditional launch cycle and make its first formal appearance this September.

Past iPhone 6s rumours have pegged the in-bound Galaxy S6 rival to move to an improved iOS 9 operating system and be crafted from sturdy Series 7000 aluminium in a bid to avoid a repeat of last year’s ‘bendgate’ woes.

Bringing the company’s handsets closer in line with its debut wearable offering, it has also been suggested that the iPhone 6s will be offered up in a new, Apple Watch Edition echoing, Rose Gold colour scheme.

"Apple’s next-gen smartphone, the iPhone 6s, is set for a camera and processor bump, industry analysts have suggested."

There must be true genius at work here!

I can't decide which is worst -
a) That there are so-called 'analysts' paid to come up with this crap
b) that there are so-called 'journalists' paid to write about the crap brought up by the so-called analysts, or
c) that this co-called IT consultant spends his free-time reading the crap produced by b) about a).

I digress...
