Newly leaked iPhone 5S specs have appeared ahead of the phone’s formal unveiling tomorrow, with an integrated fingerprint scanner once again tipped for inclusion.
Picturing the handset alongside a selection of iPhone 5S specs, the latest leaks show the marketing materials for Apple’s next smartphone, hinting that the phone will be largely similar to the iPhone 5 just with a few, eye catching additions.
With recent iPhone 5S rumours having pegged the Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One rival to sport an integrated fingerprint reader, the biometric security measure has leaked once again, with the latest leaks showing a silver ring around the iPhone 5S home button.
Although currently unconfirmed, this silver ring has appeared on a number of iPhone 5S leaks and is widely believed to be the sensor for the new fingerprint scanner.
Further iPhone 5S specs teased by the premature unveiling include improved camera optics although exact specifications are still unknown.
Like the iPhone 5 before it, the iPhone 5S looks set to line up at a mere 7.6mm thick and 112g in weight, with the added fingerprint reader and improved camera optics seemingly not adding anything to the handset’s bulk. The handset will come boxed with a pair of Apple’s EarPod headphones and run a new, faster A7 CPU.
The iPhone 5S launch event was last week confirmed for tomorrow, September 10, with the new flagship phone widely expected to make an appearance alongside the heavily rumoured budget iPhone 5C.
The launch event will kick of 6pm BST and you can follow all the latest breaking news here on TrustedReviews.
