With Apple widely expected to officially unveil the rumoured budget iPhone 5C next month, the first iPhone 5C cases have already be made available for pre-order.
Despite the mid-range Apple handset having yet to be formally announced, online retailer MobileFun has made the first collection of budget iPhone 5C cases available for pre-order, further hinting the mooted phone could be made available in a range of colours.
With a raft of recent iPhone 5C rumours and leaks having pointed to the plastic backed handset being made available in “6-8 colours,”
Manufactured by ITSKINS, the new iPhone 5C cases are dubbed the ‘Zero 3 Lightweight’ and will reportedly add “slim protection to your iPhone 5C.”
According to the product listing, “The Zero 3 case is designed to provide elegant slim protection to your iPhone 5C, this blue thin lightweight case adds virtually no bulk to your iPhone 5C.”
While latest rumours have suggested that the budget iPhone 5C release date will follow a September 10 launch event alongside the premium iPhone 5S.
Offering further details on the pre-emptive iPhone 5C case, the product listing reads: “The ultralight Zero 3 case is designed to provide lightweight protection from scratches and scuffs. The slender case clips onto the back of your iPhone 5C to provide coverage to the back and sides of the phone.

According to latest iPhone 5C rumours, the budget Apple phone will boast a 4-inch display and line up as a direct competitor to Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini and rival HTC One Mini.
Expected to feature an array of specs similar to that current iPhone 5 just within a cheaper, plastic body, the iPhone 5C is widely tipped to run an A6 dual-core CPU, 8GB of internal storage and an 8-megapixel rear-mounted camera with an LED flash.
