Apple has been preparing the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco for its big iPhone 5 launch event on Wednesday, and in the process revealed more clues as to what we can expect to see.
The front of the building has been covered in a fetching banner made up of bands of intermingling colours. At first glance they simply appear to be a nice selection of colours, perhaps suggesting some new Apple products may be arriving in new colour options. But, as suggested by AllThingsD, look a bit closer and more is revealed. If you squash the stretched bands of colour they clearly resemble the icons of an iPhone. The icons for Game Center, Music, iTunes, and Safari can all be clearly seen, while a few others are more difficult to make out. This further goes to suggest the new phone will have a longer 16:9 ratio screen.
By the by, we'll find out exactly what the deal is at 6pm Wednesday 12 when the iPhone 5 launch event kicks off. We'll of course be there reporting live and bringing you hands on videos and reviews of whatever it is that's revealed.
