The iPhone 5 is reportedly in full production, consistent with a launch this September or October.

According to Macotakara, which recently reported on the iPad mini's Brazilian origins, the next iPhone is now in full production. The site claims to have "reliable Chinese sources", presumably linked directly to the production chain - Apple's iDevices are made in giant factories in China.

Macotakara also produced a similar report ahead of the new iPad launch, writing that the tablet had started its production phase back in January 2012. this was just two months before the tablet launched - but could the iPhone 5 launch be just two months away?

Most rumours have coalesced around the idea that the next iPhone will launch in either September or October. And in usual Apple fashion, we expect that the release will follow just a couple of weeks after Tim Cook takes to the stage to announce the phone.

The next iPhone has been subject to a number of claimed leaks of body components and engineering of samples. They show that the iPhone 5 will feature a longer 4in screen and a slightly different two-tone rear.
