iPad Pro Smart Keyboard now comes in British English flavour

Apple Smart Keyboard for iPad Pro 13

Apple has announced international versions of its Smart Keyboard accessory for the 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro tablets.

The handy keyboards, which hook up to the tablet via a proprietary magnetic Smart Connector, are now available in British English, as well as the standard US layout.

That means, among other things, there’ll be a larger elongated Return/Enter key, while the £ sign replaces the hashtag as the Shift option above the number 3 key.

Beyond British English, iPad Pro buyers can also select from French, Spanish, Italian and Arabic when purchasing the accessory from the various international stores (via 9to5Mac).

The launch of the international keyboard variants comes as Apple once again attempts to pitch the iPad Pro as a full on PC replacement.

The ad, which you can see below, asks viewers “What is a computer?”

American English and Australian English require a sub title because they aren't the native country from which the language spawns.
The English language came from England, no sub title required.
