Apple has slashed the price of the iPad 4 as part of its Black Friday sales.
Over on Apple's UK online store you can pick up the brand new iPad 4 for almost 10 per cent less than its usual retail price. These price cuts will only be present today.
It's all part of the annual Black Friday deals. This tradition originated in the US, where the day following Thanks Giving is given over to extreme discounting in retail outlets.
The UK has picked up on the tradition in recent years, with Amazon in particular devoting this whole week to Black Friday-inspired discounts and deals.
Back to Apple, you can currently pick up a 16GB iPad 4 for £368 - that's £31 less than the usual retail price. Moving up the range, you can grab a 32GB model for just £438, which represents an even bigger saving of £41.
The biggest deal in the iPad 4 roster belongs to the top-of-the-range 64GB model. Usually retailing for £559, its Black Friday price here in the UK is £508. That's a saving of £51, or just shy of 10 per cent.
The same amount of money has been knocked off of the Wi-Fi equipped models, so there are some good savings to be had there.
Apple still sells the iPad 2, of course, as its budget tablet. It too have been given a price slash for Black Friday, although it's not quite as impressive as the iPad 4 price cuts.
The Wi-Fi only iPad 2 can be had for £308, while the 3G model can be had for £408. For both 16GB tablets that represents a saving of £21.
Apple's got sales off across its range of MacBooks, iPods (including the new iPod touch) and associated peripherals (but no iPad mini cuts, sadly), so head on over now and pick up a bargain. Well, a slightly less expensive Apple product, at any rate.
