Big money prizes await the winners of Intel's Bloodline competition as they join the 4Kings at next years's CPL world tour.
The winners were announced this week of Intel’s Bloodline online gaming competition, recently held at London’s Black Island Studios. David Tracey, 20 years old from Oxford and Aaron Foster, 20 years old from Preston fought off stiff competition from gamers across the UK to win contracts with the UK’s No. 1 professional gaming team the 4Kings sponsored by Intel.
The 4Kings contract means that David and Aaron will go on to represent the UK at next year’s professional gaming world championship the CPL World Tour to compete against the world’s leading professional gamers for a total prize pot of one million dollars. The Bloodline qualifier and the CPL World Tour are being fought out using online PC gaming title Painkiller, with next year’s CPL taking place through out 2005 in eleven countries – kicking off in February 2005 in Turkey, with the final taking place in December 2005 in the USA.
The Bloodline event also featured a ‘Bring Your Own Computer’ LAN-Party for over
400 players and spectators, plus the European qualifying heat of the CPL Counter-Strike championship where 4Kings defeated the GoodGame clan for a place in the final held in the USA from the December 15 to 19 where they will compete for a prize pot of $100,000.

The video, directed by Simon Byshee, is set to be hugely popular among the gaming community with the last Bloodline tournament video being downloaded by over half a million gamers worldwide.
