Huawei P8 Live Stream: Watch the unveiling right here

Huawei is set to unveil its next flagship phone later today, and you can follow the action by watching the Huawei P8 live stream right here.

Having ducked an MWC unveiling in a bid to avoid being overshadowed by the Samsung Galaxy S6 and HTC One M9 arrivals, the eagerly awaited Huawei Ascend P7 follow-on will be formally debuted at a dedicated London-based launch event this afternoon, April 15.

Ahead of the handset’s big reveal, Huawei has released the P8 launch event live stream video feed. You can watch the unveiling live via the YouTube video link below.

Currently showing a countdown timer, the Huawei P8 live stream will cut to the launch venue on the banks of the river Thames within a matter of hours.

The action is set to get underway at 3pm BST, with the unveiling scheduled to last and hour and a half.

Huawei has proclaimed that the device will “revamp the possibilities of light”, whatever that might mean.

Tipped to feature a 5.2-inch, 1080p Full HD display alongside an octa-core processor, the P8 is expected to boost its low-light photographic capabilites with an improved 13-megapixel rear-mounted camera and 8-megapixel forward-facing snapped.

Although set to be the star of the show, the Huawei P8 might not have the launch platform all to itself. Recent reports have claimed the handset will be partnered with a sub-specced, more affordable Huawei P8 Lite.
