HTC One X+ pictures and specs leaked by O2

O2 has revealed pictures and specs of the HTC One X+, HTC's upcoming flagship Android phone.

The information has appeared in a number of pieces of promotional material readily available in O2 stores and clearly shows the new handset alongside a list of specs.

According to the brochure, the HTC One X+ will feature a 1.7GHz quad-core processor, an 8megapixel camera, Beats Audio, and 64GB of built in storage. It will also run the latest Android Jelly Bean update.

The processor is believed to be an Nvidia Tegra 3 model, overclocked to run at 1.7GHz, meanwhile the 64GB is the most HTC has ever offered in one of its handsets. It also goes against the 'just use the cloud' message of the upcoming Windows Phone HTC 8X, which only has 16GB built in but comes with 7GB of Micrsooft SkyDrive cloud storage. The HTC One X+ will also come with 25GB of free space courtesy of Dropbox.

The picture in this brochure corresponds with one leaked to Pocket-Lint.com which shows both the front and back of the device, revealing that it will look very similar to the existing HTC One X but with a more prominent Beats Audio logo. This would suggest its screen will remain at 4.7in across and with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels.

The HTC One X+ is expected to arrive very soon and here O2 lists it will be available for a very reasonable £479.99.
