The HTC One Max has cropped up in a new set of images, again showing off the alleged fingerprint scanner for the device.

Following the leaked pictures last week that suggested the HTC One Max will feature a fingerprint sensor to rival the iPhone 5S, a new batch of photographs have emerged seemingly confirming the new feature.

Although the pictures show us nothing particularly new, they certainly add to the increasingly strong rumours surrounding the HTC phablet device.

The HTC Sense UI looks exactly the same as that featured on the HTC One and HTC One mini, despite the fact the HTC One Max is tipped to have the updated Sense 5.5 UI.

The pictures also show the same three dot feature on the rear of the device as the other leaked images, although at this point we’re not quite sure what they’re for.

Under the hood, notorious tipster @evleaks has suggested the HTC One Max is powered by a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with 2GB of RAM, rather than the rumoured 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU.

However, it is said that HTC has chosen to opt for the slightly slower  Snapdragon S4 in order to keep the price of the HTC One Max slightly lower.

The HTC One Max is rumoured to have a 5.9-inch Full HD display, running Android 4.3 with HTC Sense 5.5.

It will supposedly retain the UltraPixel camera technology of the HTC One and the 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera.

Powered by a beefy 3300mAh battery, the HTC One Max should have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC connectivity and be available with 32GB or 64GB internal storage.

If and when the HTC One Max launches it could be a direct rival to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
