HTC may have skipped this year’s Mobile World Congress, but as the show comes to a close it has taken the opportunity to remind us its new flagship is on the way.
With new top shelf handsets from Samsung, LG and Sony all announced this week, HTC has tweeted a teaser image of what’s still to come.
The picture, posted under the hashtag #powerof10 in reference to the (now confirmed surely?) HTC One M10 name, also appears to confirm a key design feature.
The rumoured curved rear, as showcased in leaked images in recent weeks, is illustrated in the image posted on Wednesday evening.
The design is set to be an amalgamation of HTC’s recent devices with the rear being more akin to earlier M-series devices, while the front will look a little more like the recent HTC One A9.
While that may be beneficial in some ways, such as the fingerprint sensor, users may miss the front-facing speakers popular in earlier models.
In terms of other specs, the firm is reportedly planning to Snapdragon 820 processor and a 5.2-inch AMOLED display.
