HTC One launching in red as Phones 4u exclusive

HTC has just announced that its HTC One smartphone will soon be offered in Glamour Red, available exclusively from Phones 4u.

The Glamour Red HTC One will be exclusively available from UK retailer Phones 4u from mid-July, but anyone interested in getting their hands on one can pre-order it from today.

Phones 4u are offering the HTC One in Glamour Red for free on contracts starting at £33 per month.

“Phones 4u has a proven track record of securing colour handsets exclusives for our customers and we’re extremely excited to be working with HTC to offer them this exclusive opportunity to own the HTC One in Red,” said Scott Hooton, CCO at Phones 4u.

“The new HTC One in Glamour Red showcases the power of our flagship model in a colour that demands attention, whilst maintaining the high standard set for sophisticated design and build quality”, said Philip Blair, President of EMEA at HTC.

HTC One Features

A powerhouse Android smartphone, the HTC One has a 1.7Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. The HTC One is powered by a strong 2300mAh battery to complement that powerful processor.

Running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the HTC One has the new HTC Sense UI that comes complete with the new HTC BlinkFeed news aggregator home screen.

Coupled with the UltraPixel camera technology, the HTC One introduces the HTC Zoe photography software that turns the usually static photo gallery into an animated memory bank.

All viewable via its 4.7-inch display, which benefits from a stunning 1920 x 1080p resolution and 469ppi image density, the HTC One has a brushed aluminium finish that will be getting that Glamour Red paint job.

Just 9.3mm thick, the HTC One is light at 143g and has a delightfully curved back that makes it comfortable to hold.
