The HTC Desire 310 has been launched as the company’s latest entry-level smartphone, complementing those launched at MWC 2014.
Despite its entry-level targets, the Desire 310 still has a quad-core processor and the key HTC software features like BlinkFeed. The entry-level model should complement the mid-range HTC Desire 816 and HTC Desire 610 launched at MWC.
“Everybody today wants a smartphone that can keep up with them, regardless of whether it is a flagship or entry-level model,” said Peter Chou, HTC CEO. “The latest addition to our renowned HTC Desire range combines super-fast processing and premium features at a lower price, offering users the best possible experience in this category.”
HTC Desire 310 Features
The HTC Desire 310 features a 1.3GHz quad-core CPU with 1GB of RAM. Despite the specs, sadly the Desire 310 only runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean though.
It has a 4.5-inch 854 x 480p FWVGA display running on a 2000mAh battery offering around 11 hours of 3G talk time and a very specific 852 hours in standby.
In the rear is a 5-megapixel camera with fixed focus, capable of offering full 1080p HD video recording. This is paired with a VGA front-facing camera.
Featuring 4GB of internal memory, the Desire 310 also has support for microSD cards up to 32GB.
There’s Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS, and Wi-Fi connectivity included and you’ll also have the latest HTC BlinkFeed UI to play around with too.
HTC Desire 310 Release Date and Price
The HTC Desire 310 will be available from the end of April in a range of colours. HTC has yet to release the pricing details for its entry-level blower.
