The Honor 6 Plus has just been given a sneak early debut by the TENAA, China’s certification agency.
It’s an upscaled version of the standard Honor 6, and looks set to land on the firm’s home soil come December 16.
Whether it will make it across various ponds and land-masses to Blighty any time soon is a different matter, but the Honor 6 hit the UK so our fingers are crossed for an eventual release.
In terms of design, it looks much the same – it’s sporting a black coat, a fairly svelte profile, and the ‘Honor’ stamp on the rear of the device.
An interesting differential this time around is the inclusion of dual cameras, a change from the original Honor 6.
This means the device should tout some bonus snapper features, which could include 3D video capture or refocusing like the HTC One M8.
The innards of the Honor 6 Plus are tipped to ship as follows: an octa-core processor clocking in at 1.8GHz, 3GB of RAM, 16/32GB built-in storage options, a microSD slot good for 64GB of bonus storage, and Android 4.4 KitKat pre-loaded.
All this will work to push digital goodies onto a 5.5-inch display promising a 1920 x 1080 resolution.
The Honor 6 Plus will weigh in at 165 grams and measure 7.5mm in thickness too, making it a fairly sleek affair all round.
By this point, some of you may be wondering what the hell Honor is, and why you’ve never heard of it before.
Honor is a recently sired subsidiary of Huawei. There’s currently two phones in existence at this point – the Honor 3G and the Honor 6, soon to be joined by the Honor 6 Plus.
