If you’ve bought the latest Hitman game, we’ve got a bit of bad news for you.
Developer IO Interactive has revealed that Hitman’s monthly release schedule for episodes is ‘subject to change’.
Check it out:
Hitman’s first episode was released on March 11, while the second is due to land in April, a whole month later than originally planned.
The third episode is set to arrive in May, although IO Interactive hasn’t revealed an exact release date just yet.
In response to criticisms over the ‘subject to change’ comment, Travis Barbour, IO Interactive’s community manager, wrote the following on the Hitman forum:
“’Subject to change’ is a general phrase and wasn’t intended to suggest anything,”
Barbour continued: “The aim and schedule are still set for a new episode each month, supported by the live content. We see Twitter as an informal channel, so when we have ‘news’, we’ll make sure you know about it and that it’s clearly marked as news.”

Still, Barbour doesn’t deny that the schedule could still be subject to change, which will be a bitter pill for Hitman fans to swallow.
One fan even asked for a refund via Twitter, and posted the following:
