Hitman GO: Definitive Edition coming to PS4 and PC next week

Square Enix has announced that Hitman GO: Definitive Edition is coming to PS4, PS Vita and PC on February 23.

If you can’t wait to play Hitman’s latest installment on March 11, you can soon satisfy your cravings with Hitman GO: Definitive Edition. The fantastic mobile game is now coming to consoles and PC.

Originally released in February 2014 for iOS and Android, the critically acclaimed title will be coming to PS4, PS Vita and PC next week.

The definitive edition will come packaged with a bunch of upgrades and all of the post-launch content available for the mobile version.

“It’s basically the good old Hitman GO you loved on mobile, with updated visuals and all the great content we added onto it including my personal favorites, the Paris Opera from Blood Money, and the St. Petersburg Stakeout mission from Hitman 2: Silent Assassin,” said Nicolas Verge, community manager at Square Enix Montreal.

The PS4 and PS Vita versions of Hitman GO: Definitive Edition will support both cross-buy and cross-save functionality so you can Hitman GO, well, on the go.

It will also come packaged with a selection of trophies and Steam achievements for you to unlock.

You won’t be able to obtain the game’s platinum trophy unless you “complete everything in Hitman GO without using any hints,” which sounds like a fun challenge to us.

Pricing of the game is yet to be confirmed, but hopefully it doesn’t cost too much more than the original mobile release.

The next installment in the Hitman franchise is due to launch in March 2016 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Earlier last month, Square Enix announced that Hitman will be fully episodic, instead of a full release as originally planned.

The Hitman intro pack will be available digitally on March 11 and will include the game’s prologue mission and Paris Location.
