Here’s when you can play Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp on iOS and Android

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is set to launch worldwide on November 22 for iOS and Android devices, Nintendo has announced.

The free-to-play title is already available in Australia via soft-launch, but will finally be rolled out to other territories later this week.

Previously exclusive to Nintendo’s own platforms, this marks the first time the beloved series has made its mark on smartphones.

Fortunately, it maintains the lovable Animal Crossing charm as players manage their own campsite inhabited by adorable tenants who will soon become your friends.

Pocket Camp will see you collecting fruit, catching bugs and crafting furniture to be either placed in your own abode or gifted to fellow site members as part of daily quests.

Like its portable siblings, you’ll have to wait for bugs to re-appear and fruit to regrow before collecting them again. There is an option to bypass these with microtransactions if you’d rather speed things up.

Animal Crossing has proven incredibly popular in recent years, and it seems this mobile release maintains its best qualities without sacrificing too much with its new F2P model.

We’ll be taking a look at Pocket Camp later this week, so be sure to keep an eye on our Best Android and Best iPhone game round-ups!
