The great Galaxy Note 7 exploding battery saga rolls on, but it seems like there’s finally light at the end of the tunnel for Samsung.
Speaking to Reuters, Samsung’s European CMO David Lowes has provided an indication of when normal Galaxy Note 7 sales will resume.
“We fully expect (new Note7s) to be available everywhere by the end of November … well before the end of the fourth quarter,” he said.

The Korean electronics giant has halted sales of the Note 7 and issued an international recall for devices that had entered the wild, in light of numerous reports that faulty battery cells were causing the phablet to melt or even explode.
It looks like South Korea will be the first country to see Note 7’s go on sale again, with a September 28 release date tipped for the new batch of (hopefully) non-combustible phablets.
Samsung, of course, is taking a bit of a hit as a result of the debacle.
In a separate statement, the company admitted that around 10% of Galaxy Note 7 buyers who had handed in their device were planning to get a different device.
