Dixons, which owns Currys PC World, has revealed its prediction for what it reckons will be the big hitters this festive season.
Here's the full run-down:
- Sonos multi-room system
- Samsung multi-room system
- Jawbone UP
- Fitbit Surge
- Nutribullet Pro blender
- KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer
- Sony Bravia X8 Smart Ultra HD 4K 49-inch
- Samsung Smart Ultra HD 4K 48-inch
- Lenovo's next-gen Yoga '2 in 1' convertible laptop
- Ninja Nutri blender
“The way people are listening to music at home is radically changing,” explains Vimal Solanki, Home Audio manager at Currys PC World.
He adds: “Multi-room music systems let people listen to the widest possible range of music where and whenever they want.”
Fitness trackers are also expected to do mighty well, with both the Jawbone UP and Fitbit Surge making an appearance.
The company says sales of fitness gadgets are up by 900 per cent year-on-year at Currys PC World, and the Apple Watch hype is likely to boost that success further.

Food tech is guaranteed a spot in Santa’s sack this year too, with the Nutribullet Pro Blender, the KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer, and the Ninja Nutri blender all turning up on Dixons’ Xmas roster.
“The kitchen is fast becoming the room in the house that customers are spending the most money on,” Sarah Butcher, SKA manager at Currys PC World reveals.
She continues: “Products are expected to look good on the kitchen counter as well as being practical and versatile.”
And, unsurprisingly, 4K TVs will also be high on the agenda – Dixons reckons the stars here are the Sony Bravia X8 UHD 49-inch TV and the Samsung Smart Ultra HD 4K 48-inch TV.
