Here’s how to play Apple’s Beats 1 radio on your Android device

Apple Music launched to the world yesterday, bringing with it the company’s 24/7 radio station Beats 1.

Unfortunately, the fledgling radio service is currently only available for iOS, OS X, and Windows users.

Those with Android devices have been promised an Apple Music app, but that won’t arrive until autumn.

Fortunately, a website is now streaming what’s described by its owner as a “very unofficial” re-broadcast of Beats 1.

Site creator and Twitter user Benji R says he “managed to find an unencrypted HLS URL” of Beats 1, which allows the stream to be broadcast on Android devices.

It's tough to say how long the stream will be up for; we imagine Apple HQ is frantically looking for a way to close down Benji's dodgy mirror.
