Help Us Improve TrustedReviews Mobile

Help us improve TrustedReviews' mobile site

Do you love or hate accessing TrustedReviews content on your mobile? Do you wish it had more to offer? Are there performance or design issues that need addressing? Additional features you'd like to see? Whatever your concerns or ideas, we'd like to make the site better.

During the week starting 31 October, we will hold focus groups in London to hear your views about how we can improve our offering on handheld devices and we want to hear from you.

Sign up here for the TrustedReviews mobile site development day

Those selected to take part in either the lunchtime or afternoon session will earn £50 and the satisfaction that they are involved in the development of one of the site's fastest growing areas.

Whilst you are at it, could you cast your eye over the main site please?
1) don't make me have to keep logging in - it's not like you are a bank
2) don't make it such a pain to log in (so let my browser autocomplete the login credentials)
3) please make the comments appear immediately the page loads, not 8 seconds later
4) please make the comment numbers appear immediately, not just when I am half way through the first paragraph, causing the paragraph to suddenly reflow as I am reading it.

Could you please make a TR icon for when you save the address to the iPad home screen? Tidy things up for us :)

Wow, I'm amazed - asking for help with the mobile site. After so much good feedback was offered to TR's owners on the main site's update & it was all ignored.

This is exactly what I thought.

Since I can't be bothered to repeat everything, I'll try and boil it down to one word: declutter

Please do not tweet stories that are not available on the mobile site.
The amount of times I have clicked through on my phone, to be greeted with no content is infuriating - or mention this in the tweet.

Here's one that I would say is crucial: make the mobile version of the site OPTIONAL.

By that I mean if you type www.trustedreviews.com then you get the full site. If you type m.trustedreviews.com you get the mobile site. FULL STOP. None of this stupid "what's a tablet? let's give them the mobile version, that'll be fun!" bollocks.

If I have a 10 inch tablet, I don't want the pathetic mobile version thrust upon me when I specifically typed the desktop URL.

While we're on the lines of www. or m. have both versions of the URL completely identical for all pages, articles etc so to switch between the two versions you just have to change www to m or vice versa.
