Hansnap is a phone strap that stabilises your selfies

Hold the phone!

Phones are so big nowadays they're easy to drop while taking a photo. But not with Hansnap.

It's a strap for your phone that means it's always attached to your wrist. Peel off the cover and stick it to the back of your handset. Then you click in the strap and hook it around your wrist or the palm of your hand. And that's it.

Using it, you can use your phone like a camcorder, or flip it around and snap a selfie. Well, it's a lot less annoying than a selfie stick.

You can also use it to attach your phone to a railing or a tree branch, so you can snap a group shot without having to ask a passerby.

Go for a run, and your phone will stay secure without being strapped to your arm. So you can still use it to text or make calls without having to fudge it out of the holder and possibly drop it.

You can also use it while cycling. Strap it to the back of your hand, open Google Maps, and it'll work as a satnav without needing a special mount for your handlebars.

Like all the best ideas, it's simple but effective. It's passed its funding goal and will ship in January. You can pick one up now for $25 (Ā£17).
