Halo Channel announced with first trailer

343 Industries has announced the Halo Channel as a portal for all things Halo on the Xbox One.

Described as an “all-new interactive digital network” for the Xbox One, the Halo Channel aims to be your personalised gateway to the Halo universe.

“The Halo Channel enables you to seamlessly transition between Halo games and other Halo experiences,” explains the Microsoft statement.

Launching in time for the Halo: Master Chief Collection, the Channel will feature full Twitch integration so you’ll be able to broadcast your gameplay to the Halo Community, or watch those recorded by your fellow fans.

That includes the competitive multiplayer, speed runs and walkthroughs if you’re so inclined.

The overall idea is that you’ll be able to monitor your Master Chief Collection progress, access its wealth of titles and experiences, as well as watch the Halo live action series when it’s launched with the upcoming title bundle.
