Halo 5: Guardians has gone gold, you can start pre-loading next week
343 has announced that Halo 5: Guardians has finally gone gold, with pre-loading set to begin next week.
Official copies of the game are being printed as we speak, with the October 27 release only a couple weeks away.
Halo 5: Guardians will be available to pre-download starting next week if you happened to pre-order the game digitally.
343 Industries will be releasing a content update to “supplement the online multiplayer” prior to launch.
The update will add the Arena Multiplayer and 12v12 Warzone mode to the game.
Digital owners can download the update right away, but those buying a physical copy of the game will have to wait until launch day.

Halo 5: Guardians will be the first title in franchise history to not support split-screen multiplayer, which is a huge bummer in our books.
The 5th installment removed the fan favourite feature in order to prioritise visuals and the 60 frames per second performance.
A lack of split-screen multiplayer feels somewhat ironic when you consider the emphasis Halo 5: Guardians has put on the squad-based campaign missions.
However, Halo 5: Guardians will include some new, interesting and ambitious multiplayer modes, including the fantastic Warzone.
The Xbox Elite Controller will launch alongside Halo 5, a new and improved Xbox One controller designed with customisation and multiplayer gaming in mind.
Halo 5: Guardians will launch on October 27 exclusively for the Xbox One.
