Guillermo Del Toro says he will make “whatever the f**k” Hideo Kojima wants

During last night’s DICE Awards Guillermo Del Toro said he will do “whatever the f**K” Hideo Kojima wants. It’s no Silent Hills, but we’ll take it.

The collaboration between Hideo Kojima and Guillermo Del Toro we’ve been dreaming of may finally be coming true.

Speaking with Geoff Keighley during The DICE Awards Keynote, film director Guillermo Del Toro said “I’ll do whatever the f**k he wants” when asked about working with Hideo Kojima on a future project. “Whatever he says, I’ll do [it].”

“Of course, I’d love to,” Kojima replied, who is currently working on a new game with his new studio, Kojima Productions.

Del Toro and Kojima were previously working together on Silent Hills, until the project was cancelled by Konami in April 2015.

Kojima officially left Konami in December 2015, soon after he announced the formation of his new studio, Kojima Productions.

The developer quickly formed a publication deal with Sony, which confirmed that Kojima’s next game will be exclusive to the PS4.

Now that Kojima is free to pursue more independent projects he may be reaching out to Guillermo Del Toro, and they seem very enthusiastic about working together.

Earlier this week, Kojima was also spotted reuniting with The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus.

Reedus was initially going to star as the protagonist in Silent Hills, but sadly, this never came to pass.

It is unclear whether Kojima wants to involve Guillermo Del Toro and Norman Reedus in his upcoming project with Sony, but it’s an incredibly exciting thought.
