GTA Online Heists coming early 2015

Rockstar Games has confirmed it will introduced GTA Online Heists in early 2015.

It’s been a long wait, but Rockstar Games is finally ready to give us a big update on GTA Online Heists.

Multiplayer Heists were one of the main promises given when GTA Online was launched back in October 2013.

But it’s taken until now to confirm that the GTA Online Heists will arrive early next year.

“They just turned out to be a lot more difficult than we originally thought,” explained GTA Online producer and lead mission designer Imran Sarwar to IGN.

“Our initial idea was to build on the concept of Story Mode heists to make a new gameplay experience for GTA Online that was more focused on cooperation, where everyone could play to their individual strengths and feel like they had a stake in the outcome.”

“As it turns out, creating missions of that complexity for multiple players at the same time was much more difficult than we anticipated and every time we thought we were close, something would send us back to square one.”

The GTA Online Heists coming next year will allow players to plan, prepare and execute multi-tiered Heists across the map. Players will need to take on specific roles at each point of the Heists in order to accomplish all the objects.

The Heists will apparently feature new vehicles, new weapons, new clothing and other content.

At launch, GTA Online Heists will offer five unique strands of content, involving over 20 individual missions.

GTA Online Heists will add another 20 hours of gameplay content to the GTA 5 multiplayer experience.
