The powerful editing tool, which permits players to put together movie-like gameplay clips of their time in San Andreas, was originally announced as a PC exclusive.
However, fans of video games should know that these days the term 'exclusive' is far from, well, exclusive. Sure enough, Rockstar has now confirmed that the Rockstar Editor feature is coming to consoles - or at least, to current gen consoles
In a recent Q&A over on the official Rockstar blog, the developer was asked about the chances of using the Rockstar Editor on PS4 and other consoles. It replied:
"The Rockstar Editor is an advanced tool requiring additional processing power so it would not be compatible with GTAV on the older systems, but we are currently working on a version tailored for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles."

Rockstar continued by saying that it hoped to launch the Rockstar Editor onto PS4 and Xbox One this summer - "or as soon as it is ready."
The similarly PC-exclusive Lab radio station is also set to make the switch, Rockstar said, and this time that will include the PS3 and Xbox 360.
