Gran Turismo 6 pre-order bonuses revealed by trailer

A new Gran Turismo 6 trailer has been released, revealing the Amazon US pre-order bonuses for the game.

Gran Turismo 6 fans will be excited to hear what treats they can expect when hitting that pre-order button on Amazon’s US site.

Gran Turismo 6 pre-order bonuses from Amazon include a four-car pack containing the Tesla Model S, Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C7, the BMW Z4 GT3 and the Nissan Nismo GT-R GT3.

However, pre-ordering will also provide racers with $1 million of in-game credit to spend on additional vehicles or pimping out their cars.

The Gran Turismo 6 Anniversary Edition was also unveiled this week, which will include the game in a special steelbook casing and more in-game credits. Anyone opting for the Anniversary Edition will also get 20 cars cars with special custom paintjobs.

Similar to the recently announced GTA 5 PS3 bundle, Sony Europe plans to bring out a GT6 PS3 bundle that includes all of the aforementioned Anniversary Edition content.

Developer Polyphony has loosely outlined a Gran Turismo 6 release date for the holiday 2013 period and will currently only be released for the current generation PS3 console.

The game was officially announced last month ahead of the E3 2013 gaming conference, but despite the PS4 hardware reveal Polyphony still hasn’t confirmed whether the racing simulator will ship for the PS4.

Polyphony CEO Kazunori Yamauchi said that the developer had a GT6 PS4 release “in mind, but for this holiday season, we thought it would be best for users to release on PS3.”

The PlayStation exclusive will no doubt be in competition with the Xbox One launch title, Forza 5.
