Google Nexus Player coming to UK this week

Nexus player

It seems likely that Google will launch its Nexus Player in the UK this week.

The Google Nexus Player was unveiled back in mid-October as the first device to run Android TV. However, it was only made available in the US.

Now, it seems as if the Google Nexus Player will Arrive in the UK this Thursday, March 26. Amazon UK has made it available for preorder at a cost of £79.99.

There's no sign of the Nexus Player on Google's official web store as yet, although given that the company launched a new hardware-dedicated service recently, its addition is probably imminent.

Made by Asus, the Nexus Player is a small, circular, stand-alone media box in the same vein as the Apple TV and the Amazon Fire TV. It's possible to access the Google Play Store for media content through the device, and it's also possible to push content to it from your Android or iOS phone.
