Mobile retailer and network provider Three has revealed it is to offer the Google Nexus 4 in a matter of weeks with the recently released Android 4.2 handset to be made available from December 13.
A handset manufactured by LG, SIM-free Google Nexus 4 sales kicked off earlier this month with Google’s latest Android iteration launching handset selling out in the UK in less than 30 minutes. Offering eager consumers a new opportunity to get their hands on the in demand handset, Three has confirmed that it will begin stocking the device in a little under three weeks.
“The Nexus 4 has a beautiful design and impressive hardware specs so our customers will be able to truly enjoy all the benefits of the mobile internet with this new smartphone,” said Sylvia Chind, Head of Devices at Three.
Whilst the Google Nexus 4 has been praised for its high-end collection of specs and budget £239 price tag, Three has revealed it will be offering the handset at a slightly higher price point with a £399.99 Pay As You Go Google Nexus 4 price set be the network.
For those not wanting such a considerable initial outlay, Three has also announced a selection of Google Nexus 4 tariffs with the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean launching smartphone to set wannabe owners back £35 per month and £29 up front on the all-inclusive One Plan.
Google Nexus 4 Specs
With a Google Nexus 4 features list capable of rivalling any handset on the market, and seeing a Google Nexus 4 vs. Samsung Galaxy S3 rivallry having already kicked into full flow, the device’s sub £250 price point when brought through the Google Play store has surprised, and appealed to, many.
Playing host to a 4.7-inch WXGA IPS touchscreen display with a 1280 x 768p resolution, 320ppi image density and Corning Gorilla Glass 2 coating, the Google Nexus 4 backs up a hugely impressive and zippy 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM.
Elsewhere, an 8-megapixel rear-mounted camera features on the 9.1mm thick, 139g in weight handset alongside a 1.3-megapixel forward-facing snapper whilst a 2,100mAh battery and the option of 8GB or 16GB of internal storage help run the show.
