Google Nexus 4 deliveries have resumed less than 48 hours after stocks of the Android 4.2 handset were made available through the Google Play Store alongside an expected 1-2 week shipping prediction.

Having suffered repeated shortages since the original November 13 Google Nexus 4 release date, latest Google Nexus 4 stocks have reportedly started hitting consumers doorsteps, despite the wallet-friendly handset having been listed with a 1-2 week shipping expectation.

Currently still sporting a claimed two week delivery time delay, a flurry of new Google Nexus 4 owners have reported their quad-core handsets arriving this morning. Reports of deliveries follow orders that were placed after the handset was once again made available for purchase at 3pm on Wednesday, January 30.

Originally selling out within 30 minutes of launch, Google Nexus 4 stock issues have severely hampered the handset’s release with a second round of availability in early December selling  out in double quick time and seeing the iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3 stock remain unavailable until this week. With Google Nexus 4 stocks still available for purchase, this marks the longest the LG manufactured device has remained available at its consumer appeasing SIM-free price.

With neither company wanting to accept responsibility for the recent Google Nexus 4 stock shortages, Google and manufacturing partner LG have partaken in a recent round of blame shifting, with Google branding LG “erratic” and “flawed.

In response, LG has suggested that delays have been caused by “huge demand” for the Google Nexus 4 whilst stating that its Pyeongtaek factory has to date “produced without a hitch.

Google Nexus 4 Specs

Currently available only in the customary black colour scheme, earlier this week a new, white Google Nexus 4 leaked online suggesting the handset would be coming in for a lighter hued makeover. Available in 8GB and 16GB storage forms, the Google Nexus 4 models have grabbed consumer attentions with their respective £239 and £279 price tags.

Running a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, the Google Nexus 4 specs sheet sees a 4.7-inch WXGA IPS display line up with a 1280 x 768p resolution, 320 pixels-per-inch image density and protective Corning Gorilla Glass 2 coating.

With 2GB of RAM and a 2100mAh Lithium Polymer battery in tow, the Google Nexus 4 features an 8-megapixel rear-mounted camera with 1080p Full HD video recording capabilities. The handset lines up at just 139g in weight and a comfortable 9.1mm thick.
