Google Maps for mobile adds a handy new feature
Google Maps is an app that many of us couldn’t do without, what with its helpful directions and information about the world around us.
And it just got even more useful for Android users with the addition of multiple destination support when planning a journey.
Until now, planning a trip on the mobile app involved entering a start point and a destination, but there was no way of getting directions to several stops in one journey.
The desktop version of Maps has offered such functionality for some time, but now, Android users will be the first to get the feature on their handsets.

Adding multiple destinations will be as easy as simply clicking the plus icon under the directions field in Maps, although there’s no word on exactly how many you can add.
Google is rolling out the new feature server-side right now, so if you’ve got the latest version of Maps (9.21), you should see it arrive fairly soon.
Unfortunately it seems iOS users will have to wait to see multiple destination support hit their devices, and there’s been no information to indicate when that will be.
