Not feeling the Christmas cheer while sitting in your office while everyone else is away on holidays already. Well Google has come up with a couple of novel ways to bring some of that festive spirit to your desktop.
"Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow." Simply type the phrase Let it snow into the search field on Google.com and all of a sudden you’ll see a flurry of snowflakes cascading down your browser window.
Let the snow continue to fall and you’ll even begin to see a build up of condensation on the browser window. And what do you do whenever you see condensation on a window? You write on it of course and Google has even managed to do this, letting you draw your own creations on your browser window.
Should the condensation get too much, a handy Defrost button is available to get rid of the condensation. However the snow disappears the minute you click away from the search page so we suggest going back to it every half hour or so to keep the festive spirit up.
Google has also released another little way to make your desktop more festive. Type in Christmas lights into the search field and a string of red, green, yellow and blue lights will appear across the top of the screen – but unfortunately they don’t twinkle.
Hopefully this will help get you through the last few days of work until you can go home, put your feet up – and log back onto your computer to do it all again.
