Google is highlighting the recent availability of Android Pay in the UK with a new dealtastic promotion.
Android Pay Day is the new promotion's name, and it takes place every month "just before pay day." On this day, you simply need to use Android Pay to pay at selected retail partners, and you'll get some rewards.
Today is the first Android Pay Day, er, day. You can use Google's promotion to get a second Frappuccino free at Starbucks, and £5 off your first Deliveroo order (or £2.50 off if you've used it before).
All you need to do is show the cashier your Android Pay app at Starbucks, and to input ANDROIDPAY5 or ANDROIDPAY2.5 at checkout with Deliveroo.
This initiative really sets out some of Android Pay's most distinctive feature over Apple Pay. It shows that Google's service also serves as a virtual universal bonus card, bringing you special deals across various participating retail partners.

It also highlights how it's already working with online purchases, with Apple Pay only set to catch up in iOS 10.
Android Pay is available now as a free download on the Google Play Store. You'll need an NFC-enabled Android device with Android 4.4 KitKat or above to get it working.
