Google has announced the dates for its annual Google I/O conference, which in previous years have brought floods of newsworthy announcements.
In 2015, the company will be holding the event at the Moscone Centre in San Francisco on May 28-29, Google executive Sundar Pichai announced on Twitter on Tuesday evening.
Google hasn’t given away any clues regarding this year’s agenda, but the Google Events website promises “two days of hands-on interaction with the latest technologies, inspirational talks and a few surprises in between.”
Registration for the event will begin on March 17.
In 2014, the firm unveiled the Android L operating system featuring the brand new Material Design language. Android L would of course become Android Lollipop which is finally beginning to hit smartphones and tablets.
The company also announced its Android One platform, which aimed to bring a unified Android experience to low-powered devices in the developing world.

Google also launched Android TV to replace the failed Google TV platform, while Chromecast also got an update.
