Channel 4’s All 4 is finally coming to Google Chromecast

Google’s Chromecast streaming dongle has a wide roster of supported services, but Channel 4 has always been frustratingly absent.

That’s now about to change however, as Channel 4 announces upcoming support for its All 4 On Demand service on Chromecast.

As of November 24, All 4’s entire roster of content will be available to stream to a TV using Chromecast.

For the unaware, All 4 is the rebranded version of Channel 4’s original On Demand video streaming service ‘4oD’.

The service boasts a number of popular shows, including Come Dine With Me, Gogglebox, First Dates, Made in Chelsea, and Peep Show.

All 4 now joins a number of other Chromecast supported players like BBC iPlayer, Netflix, YouTube, Sky’s NOW TV, Spotify, and Vevo.

Google recently unveiled the second-generation version of its Chromecast.

The dongle, which plugs into your TV’s HDMI port, streams content over Wi-Fi.

To control media, you can use the Chromecast app, which is available on Android phones and tablets, as well as the Chrome browser for desktop.

Google also says that compatibility with iOS devices is coming soon.
