Google has announced the next major version of its Chrome web browser will significantly lower demands on your PC.
Chrome 55 comes out on December 6 and will consume up to 66 per cent less RAM than Chrome 53, according to Google’s tests.
The company said it has tested the new V8 memory optimisation technology on sites like YouTube, Reddit and the New York Times.
